KUANTAN - The Pahang Information Department will be the coordinator for creating official social media websites for every 1Malaysia Community (KIM) in the state.
The Chairman of the State Committee on Information, Communications and Multimedia Datuk Shahaniza Shamsuddin said there were 101 KIM in Pahang with 40 committee members each.
"Previously, most of the sharing and dissemination of information through KIM was done through the various programmes organised.
"But with the existence of the new platform, all activities could be held faster and information delivered swiftly," he said.
He said this to reporters after opening a programme to strengthen the management of the 'Komuniti 1Malaysia' (KIM) at the Pahang state level which was attended by more than 400 KIM committee members throughout the state.
